Localizado a cerca de 15 km do centro histórico de Marechal Deodoro, e distante 32 km da Capital Maceió, o Lago Azul é um refúgio para quem busca tranquilidade e contato com a natureza.

Encravado num pedacinho da Mata Atlântica que sobreviveu à cultura canavieira, é formado pela represa de dois rios que deságuam em uma piscina natural de águas azuis.

O lago faz jus ao nome. Seu ambiente paradisíaco possui águas azuis e se mantém a uma temperatura média de 13 graus centígrados, mesmo no verão.

O local conta com uma bica e cascata, que sem sombra de dúvidas, são as mais atrativas de todas as bicas que circundam a Grande Maceió.

Como a propriedade é particular, o público pode ter acesso a ela mediante o pagamento de uma taxa, que varia conforme o tipo de veículo e número de pessoas. Cobra-se o valor de R$ 15,00 reais por carro e R$ 3,00 reais por pessoa se for de ônibus ou van.

Como Chegar?
Localizado no Litoral Sul do estado, siga em direção ao viaduto da praia do francês, para então pegar a direita na direção de Marechal Deodoro. Entrando a direita, você deve seguir reto até chegar em uma rotatória, e no lado direito vai ter uma placa para ir em direção ao Centro Histórico de Marechal Deodoro, você segue essa direção. (Esse percurso leva cerca de 08 minutos). Depois siga reto, cerca de 11 km, até você achar que vai estar no caminho errado. Mas depois vai localizar uma placa no lado direito da estrada entre os canaviais: Seja Bem Vindo Lago Azul. (da rotatório supracitada até essa placa abaixo é em torno de 10 minutos). Por fim, basta seguir mais 5 minutinhos e achou!

O lugar não é grande, mas muito bonito. O incômodo é realmente ir num feriadão, a fim de relaxar e curtir, e encontrar uma galera com o som do carro topado. Pior ainda aquelas pessoas que, sem a mínima consciência ecológica, deixam lixo no lugar.

Devido aos fatores citados acima, o indicado é ir dia de semana e quando não for feriado. Ahh! A estrada também é de barro, então vá em um dia de sol. Vá preparado com almoço e lanches, pois o restaurante de lá, deixa muito a desejar.
