Quem disse que a Barra é só praia? No município da Barra de São Miguel, no litoral sul, há outras vertentes, como o Rio Niquim. Apesar de ser curto em extensão, o rio é um dos balneários mais procurados por turistas.

Seguindo para perto da nascente do rio, localizada a uns 15km da Barra de São Miguel em direção a São Miguel dos Campos, fica a famosa Cachoeira da Geladeira, também conhecida como Cachoeira Aguá Fria, devido a sua água bem gelada.

A cachoeira de rocha calcária se exibe com água totalmente cristalina e refrescante. Uma das quedas d’águas é praticamente uma banheira de hidromassagem particular, totalmente natural, cercada por vegetação.

Como chegar na cachoeira?
Essa cachoeira localiza-se a uns 15km da Barra de São Miguel em direção a São Miguel dos Campos, A entrada fica na frente de umas caixas d’águas suspensas na frente de um sítio do outro lado da pista.
